Legacy of Excellence
A summer highlight was the National Association of Teachers of Singing July workshop, "Legacy of Excellence", held at my alma mater, the University of Colorado in Boulder. I experienced three intense, invigorating days learning more about the voice, reviewing the legacy of master teachers who taught at CU forty years ago, hearing beautiful singing in master classes, sharing with colleagues, and listening to the national Student Auditions. I am grateful for the opportunity to rejuvenate and appreciate the world of music and singing!
NATS National Conference
September 7, 2016Jackie attended NATS National Conference in Chicago, July 8-12, 2016. It was a privilege to hear Renee Fleming conduct a master class--what an intelligent, gracious, talented musician!
